But since I’ve been back, I’ve noticed so much beauty and felt such kindness from the city of Leicester; meeting so many amazing people within this last year. When I thought of kindness, it was this city that really came to mind, which is why I drew this sketch. I’m very glad and grateful to call this my home.

Art at The Chapel is located in Bishop Street Methodist Church – an active church in Leicester City Centre.
We are next to the Town Hall Square, a short walking distance from all bus stations and Leicester train station.
There is limited pay-and-display on-street parking (including disabled parking) right outside of the church and more in surrounding areas.
There is a cafe on site serving refreshments all day.
Artist in residence
We are proud to provide a creative space for an artist in residence at Art at The Chapel. Artists have the opportunity to research the church, community, local area, and experiment with different art forms over a period of time in order to create a new body of work. We support our resident artists by providing work space, mentorship, and an exhibition at the end of their residency, including opportunities for presentations.
