Kate brings a contemporary approach to the long established tradition of European abstract art. She is a keen observer of the often overlooked shapes and textures in both nature and the built environment.
As Kate herself states, “I have a particular passion for the old, decaying and the derelict”. These themes are skilfully abstracted and woven into the striking images that form the basis of this exhibition, displaying mastery of shape, colour and texture. Just look.
